Director Walter Smith collaborated with Ridge Road to bring this behind-the-scenes look into life behind the garage doors at UPS’s Atlanta headquarters. Walter’s free access to explore the entire facility enabled us to capture both the technology and people that make express delivery possible every day. The underlying theme was a day in motion—people, machinery, and ultimately the facilitation of shipment and delivery.

The LOG footage was shot at 60 fps on Canon’s C200 on a DJI Ronin gimbal. This frame rate provided an opportunity to edit in both slow motion and standard 24 fps, giving the final edit an occasional dreamy feel. The color grading was achieved in Blackmagic Resolve 15 and delivered to social media platforms via Vimeo.com.
